Aluminum Service Entrance(SE)Cable
Aluminum SE cable – trusted for residential service entrance wiring.
Lightweight and flexible solution for overhead or underground entry.
SE cable with tough insulation for safe, long-term home power supply.
Cost-effective aluminum conductor cable for utility connections.
UL-listed SE cable – easy to install, built to last.
Application
Aluminum Service Entrance (SE) Cable is specifically designed for power supply from utility lines to residential or light commercial buildings, supporting both above-ground (SEU) and underground (SER) service entrance applications. It consists of compact stranded aluminum conductors, with PVC insulation and an overall sunlight-resistant PVC jacket, offering durability and long service life in outdoor environments.
SE cables are available in two main types:
SEU (Service Entrance, Unarmored): Typically used for single-phase residential mains, with a two-conductor plus ground configuration.
SER (Service Entrance, Reinforced): Contains multiple conductors and a bare aluminum ground, often used for panel feeders or subpanel connections.
These cables are UL-listed and rated 600V, with temperature ratings up to 90°C (wet or dry conditions). Their lightweight construction, flexibility, and corrosion resistance make installation easy in conduit or open air.
Manufactured in compliance with UL 44 and UL 854, Aluminum SE Cables are a cost-effective and code-compliant solution for reliable power distribution in North American residential and light commercial projects.
