Application
N2XSEY, NA2XSEY, N2XSE2Y, and NA2XSE2Y are three-core medium voltage power cables designed for fixed installation in power distribution systems up to 12/20(24) kV or 18/30(36) kV. These cables are manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0276-620 / IEC 60502-2, ensuring high reliability and safety.
These cables feature copper (N2X…) or aluminum (NA2X…) conductors, XLPE insulation, and a copper wire screen with copper tape for effective electromagnetic shielding and fault current return paths. The difference between SEY and SE2Y lies in the outer sheath:
- SEY uses PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
- SE2Y uses PE (Polyethylene) for enhanced moisture resistance and mechanical durability.
These cables are UV-resistant, flame-retardant, and suitable for direct burial or installation in ducts, making them ideal for infrastructure, industrial plants, and utility distribution networks.
With continuous operation at 90°C, short-circuit tolerance up to 250°C, and high dielectric strength, these cables offer long service life, low capacitance, and reliable performance under tough environmental and electrical conditions.
