Application
Standard XLPE Insulated Low Voltage (LV) Power Cable is engineered for efficient and safe power distribution in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. It uses high-conductivity copper or aluminum conductors insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), a material known for its superior thermal and electrical properties.
XLPE insulation offers excellent resistance to heat, moisture, chemicals, and mechanical stress, allowing the cable to operate at higher temperatures—up to 90°C continuous and 250°C under short-circuit conditions—without degradation. Compared to PVC-insulated cables, XLPE cables provide better current-carrying capacity, lower dielectric loss, and longer service life.
This type of cable is widely used in low-voltage power distribution systems, control panels, lighting networks, and fixed installations in dry or wet locations. It is suitable for indoor, outdoor, duct, or direct burial applications.
